Ramond Magnuson- Founder/Retired
Ray Magnuson is the founder and former principal of Magnuson & Associates, LTD., an agency long recognized for its expertise in Employee Benefit design and implementation. After more than 38 years as an independent consultant and broker in Tucson, Ray recently retired, leaving behind a legacy defined by integrity, service, and an unwavering commitment to the clients and community he served.
Throughout his career, Ray was an active and respected member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, contributing at the local, state, and regional levels. His professional accomplishments include advanced designations from the American College as a Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Registered Health Underwriter, and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant. Ray earned his Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Santa Clara, and he is a past member of both the California and Arizona Bar Associations.
Beyond his professional achievements, Ray has always been deeply involved in the Tucson community. He has served on numerous Boards of Directors and held leadership roles including President of Rotary International, The Brewster Center for Domestic Violence, and the Casa de los Niños Foundation. His dedication to service has been a defining part of his life’s work.
Ray’s retirement marks the beginning of a new chapter for Magnuson & Associates — one carried forward with pride and gratitude by the next generation, honoring the foundation he built and the values he instilled.
Phillip Magnuson
Phillip serves as an Account Executive for Magnuson & Associates, honored to continue the legacy his father spent a lifetime building. Insurance has been part of Phillip’s world since childhood, shaping his understanding of Health & Disability coverage long before he ever stepped into the office.
Now entrusted with leading the next generation of the agency, Phillip brings enthusiasm, sincerity, and a people‑first mindset to every client relationship. He credits his father for the countless lessons that shaped him — and enjoys the fact that the mentorship now goes both ways, especially when they find themselves competing on the golf course.

Adriana Leyva
Adriana has been a member of our Team since 2008. She brings over 26 years of experience to her position with experience on both the Carrier and Agent side of the business. Even after all these years, she still finds great satisfaction working with our clients and their employees. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Although a native of California, she moved to Tucson in 1988. Her favorite slogan is

Nicole Dyson
Nicole has more than 30 years of experience in the health insurance industry. A University of Arizona graduate, she began her insurance career in 1995 with a major insurance carrier before becoming an insurance broker with Wolfe Insurance and Consultants, LLC in 1999. In 2023, she joined Magnuson and Associates.
Nicole is an Arizona-licensed Health and Disability Insurance Agent with extensive experience in employer, Medicare, and individual health benefits. She has been an active member of NABIP (formerly NAHU) since 1999 and has served in various leadership positions on both the local and Arizona state boards for more than 20 years.
Nicole was honored with the NAHU Presidential Service Award for her outstanding service to the industry. She is dedicated to using her experience and knowledge to help clients find insurance solutions tailored to their individual needs.
Audrey Stratton
Audrey joined the Magnuson & Associates team in 2026 and specializes in individual and Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance. She is passionate about helping individuals and families find coverage that fits their needs and budget.
A Tucson native and proud University of Arizona graduate, Audrey earned her degree in Public Health with an emphasis in Health Systems Theory and Practice.
Audrey understands that health insurance can sometimes feel complicated and overwhelming, especially when comparing plans, understanding benefits, and deciding what coverage is the right fit. Her goal is to make the process simple, straightforward, and easier to understand.
Whether helping someone enroll in health insurance for the first time, review their current coverage, or explore new options, Audrey is committed to making the process less stressful and helping her clients feel confident in their healthcare coverage.
